What: Avon Lake Fireworks Celebration
Where: Weiss Park, 33401 Webber Road, Avon Lake
When: July 2 at 6 p.m.

Musical performances and food trucks will help Avon Lake residents celebrate Independence Day, during the city's annual holiday fireworks show.

Music by Anne E. DeChant (6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and The Spazmatics (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.). Jones Bones BBQ, Nelly Belly, Kona Ice and Cathy's Cle will all be on hand to sate appetites.

July 3rd Fireworks in Avon

What: Avon's July 3rd Fireworks Show
Where: Mercy Health Stadium, 2009 Baseball Blvd.
When: Fireworks start after the baseball game (first pitch at 7:05 p.m.)

If you aren't in the stadium for the game, you can watch the fireworks from the grass area on Recreation Lane, off Route 611 - by the Speedway gas station.
