When is the First Day of School in Strongsville?

The first day of school for first graders is Aug. 20.

It's sad but true — summer vacation will end.

To prepare for the upcoming school year, here are some important dates to keep in mind:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 20: First day of school for grades 1-9
  • Wednesday, Aug. 21: First day of school for grades 10-12 
  • Monday, Aug. 26: First day of school for pre-school and Kindergarten
The entire 2013-14 calendar is available on the district's website for more important dates to keep in mind. 

The handbooks for all of the buildings and the athletic handbook are also available for the 2013-14 school year.
