Meal Distribution Begins Friday At Strongsville Schools

Breakfast and lunch will be passed out Wednesdays and Fridays at Strongsville Schools.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Meal distribution for students will begin Friday at the Strongsville Schools.

Packaged breakfast and lunch meals will be given to families for students. Meals are available for students in grades K-12. Distribution will be done on Wednesdays and Fridays at a student's school building.

On Wednesdays, meal distribution will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families will receive breakfast and lunch for students for Thursday and Friday during this event. Meals are placed in a tamper resistant reusable bag, with two breakfasts and two lunches. All meals must be accepted together. First pickup is Aug. 26.

On Fridays, meal distribution will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families will receive breakfast and lunch for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during this event. Meals will similarly be placed in reusable bags. All meals must be accepted together. First pickup is Aug. 21.

"In terms of cost, breakfast costs $2.00 for elementary and middle school students and $2.25 for high school students. Lunch costs $3.00 for elementary students and $3.25 for middle school and high chool students. Your child(ren) may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals (see below for application forms). The reduced price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch," the district said in a statement.

Meals can be paid for either using the PaySchools account or by placing exact change or a check into a sealed envelope and paying at pickup.
