Missing Boy Found Dead In Strongsville
An 8-year-old boy was found dead by Strongsville police on early Tuesday morning.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — An 8-year-old boy who went missing in Strongsville has been found dead, police announced.
On Monday afternoon, Strongsville police announced that an 8-year-old boy had wandered away from the Holiday Inn on Royalton Road. Investigators said the boy was last seen wearing swim trunks.
Strongsville police and several neighboring agencies searched for the boy. After scouring the complex, officers found the child's body in the hotel swimming pool. He was identified and declared dead.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office will determine the official cause of death.
"Please extend your thoughts and prayers to his family. More details will be released at a later time," police said in a statement on Tuesday morning.

Police said the boy's death is still under investigation.
