More Than 2,000 People Without Power In Strongsville
FirstEnergy's power outages map says that more than 10 percent of the city is without power.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — More than 2,000 FirstEnergy customers in Strongsville are currently without power, according to the company's website. That's more than 10 percent of the energy customers in the city.
Hard rain hit Northeast Ohio on Monday night, bringing lightning and thunder with it. By 10:30 p.m., approximately 2,200 FirstEnergy customers in Strongsville were without power.
The company says that power should be restored to the majority of customers by 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. There were more power outages in Strongsville than anywhere else in Cuyahoga County on Monday night.

Thunderstorms are likely throughout the early portion of the week, with rain possible through Wednesday night or Thursday morning. There is currently a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms on early Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
