'Naked Desire' Costs Brunswick Man Wheel of Fortune Win

With one letter remaining in the puzzle, a Brunswick man thought Tennessee Williams' famous play was titled "A Streetcar Naked Desire".

BRUNSWICK, OH - What a difference a letter makes. Change out a 'D' and a dog becomes a hog. Change out a 'M' with a 'K' and named becomes naked and you lose your chance at winning a puzzle on Wheel of Fortune. So it goes.

Kevin Haas, from Brunswick, Ohio, was forced to expose the blind spot in his cultural expertise. With the category "Title" on the board and only one letter missing in "A Streetcar Na-ed Desire" Haas decided the final, missing letter must be a 'K'.

It was, undoubtedly, a moment of rare, naked embarrassment for Haas.

Lisa Hutchins, an executive assistant for a major utility company from Franklin, Wisconsin capitalized on the opening, spun the wheel, and correctly guessed that 'M' would complete the puzzle. Hutchins beat out the competition to go to the final puzzle, but was unable to win the grand prize. She still left with more than $40,000 in cash and a trip to Cabo San Lucas.

It's important to remember that while this may seem a laughing matter, whenever someone bares their soul and exposes their inner self on television, they're making a courageous move. So before you start undressing Haas verbally, remember how those moments of naked tension on television are incredibly pressurized.
