Strongsville Car Crash: 31-Year-Old Killed

Police said a one-car accident on Friday morning led to the death of a 31-year-old resident.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — A Strongsville man was killed in a one-car accident on Friday morning, police announced.

Dominic Lambrakis, 31, was killed when the car he was in hit a tree on Eastland Road, according to Strongsville police reports. Lambrakis was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to police, Lambrakis was in a black luxury car at about 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Rain was coming down and the asphalt streets were wet, police reports said.

The car went off the road, became airborne and struck a tree, according to the police report obtained by Patch. Police believe the car may have been speeding on the road.

The vehicle's undercarriage was damaged in the collision.

Investigators are still looking into the crash, police said.
