Strongsville City Will Chip Branches Downed By Storm

The heavy snow April 21 caused lots of damage to trees and bushes in the area.

The heavy snow April 21 caused lots of damage to trees and bushes in the area. As a result, Mayor Tom Perciak has authorized the Service Department to temporarily resume brush chipping to help residents dispose of storm-damaged limbs and branches.

To get on the list, residents MUST call the service department at (440) 580-3170 to register their address. Leave your name and address on the voicemail.

Branches and brush should be of manageable size and placed with cut ends facing the street.
THIS SERVICE WILL END APRIL 30. Requests must be called in, and branches placed at the curb, by that date. No exceptions.

Regular brush and branch chipping has been suspended this summer due to budget shortfalls caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
