Strongsville Girls Soccer Holds Top 3 Spot In Ohio Rankings
For three straight weeks, the team has held down its ranking.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — For the third straight week, the Lady Mustangs Division I soccer team has held its position as the number three team in the state of Ohio, according to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (OSSCA). There has been some shake-up at the top of the polls, however.
After trailing Medina High School and Walsh Jesuit High School for two weeks, on Sept. 4 and Sept. 11, the Mustangs now trail Loveland and Medina. Loveland leapfrogged both Walsh Jesuit and Strongsville on its way to the two spot.
Strongsville's current record is 6-0-1. Medina, the number one team in the state for the past three weeks, has a record of 8-0-1. Loveland is 8-0. Walsh Jesuit fell to the fourth spot and currently has a record of 7-0. (To stay up to date on local stories, subscribe to the Patch Strongsville newsletter.
