There's plenty to do between now and the spookiest time of the year.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Halloween is one of the most exciting holidays for children and families. Costumed kids can go door-to-door Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Before trick-or-treat time though, there are plenty of events to get folks in the spooky mood.
On Oct. 27, residents are invited to come to a city-hosted costume party. The event will include inflatales, candy, games, dancing, crafts, cookie decorating, hot dogs, chips and Halloween treats. The indoor event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for kids 3 and up, $5 for kids 1-2 and the event is free for children younger than one.
There will also be two events at SouthPark Mall for community members to enjoy. (To stay up to date on these stories, subscribe to the Patch Strongsville newsletter. As news breaks and the story develops, you will be the first to receive updates from Patch.)
