Strongsville High Football Climbs Back Into Rankings
The Mustangs won a dramatic match-up with Shaker Heights and climbed back to a 4-4 record. Where are they in the rankings? Find out!

STRONGSVILLE, OH — After surviving a late comeback attempt by the Shaker Heights Red Raiders on Friday, the Mustangs improved their record to 4-4. The Strongsville High School football team is now on a two-game winning streak, after they beat Medina Oct. 6, 21-7.
Pulling back to .500 has landed the Mustangs on the most recent iteration of the OHSAA computer rankings. The team is now ranked 11 in Division I, Region I, in front of the 6-2 Cleveland Rhodes High School.
The Mustangs have games against Elyria, Oct. 20, and Brunswick, Oct. 27, remaining on the schedule.

Elyria is currently a paltry 1-7 on the season. The team was blown out by Medina last week, 41-14.

Brunswick Football played an insane game last week against Euclid. The Blue Devils lost to Euclid by the incredible score of 78-54. Clearly, there was a lot of defense played in that game.
The Mustangs struggled mightily last season, and the opportunity to finish 2017 with a 6-4 record and a strong Division I, Region I ranking is within the Mustangs' grasp. The path to a winning record is there, with what should be an easy win against Elyria.
