Strongsville Lady Mustangs Playing For Soccer Title

The Ohio Division I State Championship is at stake when Strongsville plays Beavercreek High School in Columbus on Friday.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Lady Mustangs soccer team has a chance to achieve lasting glory on Friday night. The team will be playing for the Division I State Championship at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus.

The Mustangs are playing Beavercreek High for the championship. The two teams will square-off at 7 p.m. in the home of the Columbus Crew.

Tickets for the matches are $8 per day and can be purchased at the southwest corner of the stadium. Parking is $7. The public can enter MAPFRE through Gate 15, near Velma Avenue, and through Gate 19, off of Silver Drive.

For fans that can't make it to the game, OHSAA will be streaming the matches. The website for the Ohio High School Athletic Association was down as of 10 a.m. Friday morning, but will hopefully be up and running by Friday evening.
