Strongsville Schools Closed Tuesday Due To Winter Weather
Both in-person and online classes are canceled.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Schools are closed Tuesday due to winter weather.
"This is not a remote learning or asynchronous day, school is closed due to weather," district officials said in a statement.

Between 8 and 12 inches of snow fell between Monday night and Tuesday morning in northern Ohio, the National Weather Service warned. Winds of up to 20 mph will sweep through the region, making travel particularly hazardous.

"Travel will become very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute on Tuesday," the National Weather Service said.
Winds could hit 30 mph. Wind chills will make it feel nearly 0 degrees outside, forecasters said.

"If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency," the National Weather Service said.
