Strongsville Schools Discuss Online Start To School Year

The county Board of Health recommended districts begin the school year online. Strongsville officials are discussing the recommendation.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — Strongsville Schools leaders are considering the county board of health's recommendation to start the school year online.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Health also recommended halting all extracurricular activities, including sports, because of their ability to rapidly spread COVID-19 among students. Strongsville Superintendent Cameron Ryba said he will be discussing the recommendations with the district's athletic conference.

Ryba said he is also set to take part in a meeting between school superintendents and board of health officials.
