Strongsville Schools Install New Safety Measure
BOLO Sticks are used to reinforce classroom doors in the event of a school lockdown.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — Strongsville Schools have installed BOLO sticks in all classrooms, thanks to a donation from Clark-Reliance.
BOLO Sticks reinforce locked doors and are used in the event of a school or classroom lockdown. Every classroom in the district has received a BOLO stick.
The Strongsville police and fire departments helped install the safety devices in classrooms, the district said. When students return to in-person learning, BOLO sticks will be present in all classrooms.
