Strongsville Schools Recognized For Financial Management

The district was again recognized for its sound budget policies.

STRONGSVILLE, OH — For the fifth straight year, the Strongsville Schools have been recognized for their fiscal management and budgetary policies.

The district received the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) Meritorious Budget Award (MBA). A panel of school financial professionals reviewed Strongsville's budget documents and deemed the district worthy of the award.

“We appreciate the recognition by the Association of School Business Officials International and are honored to receive the Meritorious Budget Award for the fifth straight year. The award reflects a dedication by our entire district to maintain fiscal responsibility and financial transparency. We are grateful for the funding that is entrusted to us by the taxpayers of our community," said George Anagnostou, Strongsville Schools treasurer.

The ASBO panel also provided expert feedback for the district, which can be used for future development and continued improvement, district officials said.

"We continue to ensure these financial resources are utilized for the benefit of the students in our district and in the best interest of our community,” Anagnostou said.
