
1. Paranormal talk is Thursday — Christine B. of El Dorado Paranormal Investigations will present a look into the paranormal, including some evidence she has accumulated over the past seven years, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Strongsville Library. Registration is requested; 440-238-5530.
2. Savor the Flavor — The Rotary Club of Strongsville presents the fourth annual Savor the Flavor, featuring more than 25 fine Northern Ohio restaurants offering samples along with wine and beer tastings. Starts at 5 p.m. at Petitti's Garden Center.
3. DAR Luncheon — Hannah Luther Bosworth Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will host Captain Howard Holschuh, USN Retired, and author of I Briefed a Thousand Stars as their luncheon speaker at the Strongsville Holiday Inn on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11:30 am.
4. City Council to meet — The regular meeting of Strongsville City Council starts at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.
5. Fall hayrides — Tractor-drawn hayrides are offered October Saturday nights from 6 to 10 p.m. and Sunday afternoons  from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Chalet in the Cleveland Metroparks.Â
