Winter Wonderland Celebration To Be Held In Strongsville
This year's lighting ceremony will look different because of COVID-19.
STRONGSVILLE, OH — The annual Winter Wonderland Lighting Celebration will be held this year.
The city confirmed it is still planning to host the event on Nov. 22, despite the complications posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m.
This year's event will look different, with no train rides, carriage rides or costumed characters for kids to interact with. However, Santa Claus will be on hand and the mayor will countdown to the light-up.

Santa will not be able to meet with children individually this year.
A fireworks display will cap the evening, the city said.
