  1. After a deadly 4th of July shooting that resulted in the death of one juvenile and several others wounded, the mayor's office is highlighting a major problem in Toledo. JoJuan Armour, a representative of the Mayor's Initiative to End Gun Violence, has questioned why youth were out so late in the first place. (WTOL)
  2. Local law firm Charles E. Boyk Law Offices has filed suit against Dick's Sporting Goods over a shoplifting incident that occurred a year ago. (NBC 24)
  3. Two Toledoans have created an app called Dishstory that will allow users to share their favorite recipes. The creators credit their success with the help of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business Development Center, Jumpstart!, and Rocket Launch at the University of Toledo. (13 ABC)
  4. July 4th marked the year anniversary of the killing of Toledo policeman Anthony Dia, who died in the line of duty. Dia is remembered by his wife and children, who spent the day in the police union hall and watched fireworks. (13abc Action News)
  5. The cause of a car accident involving two SUVs is still unknown. Toledo Fire and Rescue were at the scene on W. Alexis Road where one driver was taken to the hospital. (WTOL)
