In today's daily, the Toledo City Council delays a vote to recoup taxpayer money for the Summit Street project, a new theater is unveiled at Imagination Station, Toledo police search for a man accused of theft in Michigan, and a historical inaccuracy may plague the new I-475 overpass.

- The controversial Summit Street project, already under scrutiny by the FBI, faces another setback as the Toledo City council decided against a vote regarding taxpayer funds. The council was initially set to vote on a resolution that would seek funds paid to Buckeye Broadband for utility lines that were moved during construction. (13 ABC)
- Toledo ranks near the bottom for cities whose residents owe the most credit card debt, landing 178th out of 182 cities studied. Also near the bottom of the list are Cleveland, Columbus, and Detroit. (WTOL)
- Imagination Station in downtown Toledo will feature a brand new theater with a massive screen. The screen is 58 feet tall and the theater will seat 278. In addition to screening educational films, the technology will allow for a myriad of other uses. (Toledo City Paper)\
- Toledo Police are searching for a man accused of stealing a generator from Tractor Supply in Lambertville, MI. (Monroe News)
- The new I-475 overpass over Dorr Street is causing some controversy as it features a permanent greeting that may include a historical inaccuracy. Etched into the concrete, the sign reads "Welcome to Toledo. Est. 1833." Local historians were quick to point out that Toledo was not actually incorporated until 1837; the date that appears on the city's official seal. (13 ABC)

- Rare and Wondrous: Birds in Art and Culture 1620-1820, Toledo Museum of Art through July 25
- Toledo School for the Arts will perform throughout summer in a free Jazz in the Park series, through August 12
- Toledo brings back Movies in the Park series, June 24 - September 16
- City of Toledo accepting applications for Parks and Recreation Youth Advisory Board
- Community mental health organization Harbor is facilitating 300 jobs for teens this summer through their Youth Enhancement Services (YES)
- Lunch at Levis returned June 10 and will last through September 16. It features live performances, food vendors, and other activities related to this year's Solheim Cup and Toledo Jeep Fest
- Toledo Night Market returns beginning June 19 and will host live music, food, and shopping plus free parking near the Toledo Farmer's Market, 6-11 PM monthly
- The Toledo Symphony Orchestra and the Toledo Ballet have joined forces at the Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts and have announced an exciting 2021/2022 season
- Toledo School for the Arts offering music lessons focusing on a "drumline" every Wednesday at five city parks. The program is for children of all ages and does not require any experience or reservations. (WTOL)
