- Toledo Museum of Art is hosting a special debut exhibition showcasing 200 years of American art focusing on the supernatural. The exhibit will run from June 12 thru September 5 and will be a multimedia experience. (BG Independent)
- A downtown Toledo nonprofit bicycle shop was broken into twice, June 6 and June 8. Toledo Bikes has been in business for ten years and helps organizations get bikes to people who could benefit from them. (WTOL)
- The Toledo fireworks display is back on track after securing a new vendor for firework supplies. Toledo City Council and Mayor Kapszukiewicz have been involved in ensuring the event takes place. (13 ABC)
- Universty of Toledo graduate Eanas Abuhata has won the Taco Bell Foundation's Live Mas Scholarship. Abuhata won the scholarship with video submission focusing on oral health for marginalized communities and plans to use the money to assist with dental school at The Ohio State University. (13 ABC)
- The Toledo Summit Street reconstruction project is under further scrutiny after a proposal was discovered that would've charged taxpayers $600,000 to move utilities. The project is already under investigation by the FBI. (13 ABC)
