Today's daily features stories on an alarming trend of catalytic converter thefts throughout the city, a new boxing program sponsored by the City of Toledo aimed at local youth, a celebration of Lutheran Social Services' long history in the city, and an exhibition celebrating Juneteenth at the Toledo Museum of Art.

- Toledo Police are seeing a nearly 400% increase in catalytic converter thefts throughout the city since September 2019. The materials used in the converters can be very valuable on the black market. (NBC 24)
- The City of Toledo is sponsoring youth boxing programs this summer. Partnering with local organization Toledo 4 Boxing, two weeklong camps will be held at Smith Park this summer. Participants will get lunch and a pair of Title boxing gloves at the end. (13 ABC)
- Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz honors Lutheran Social Services for 110 years of community service. The agency has served 24 counties and offers food, clothing, mental health treatment, and substance abuse treatment. (NBC 24)
- The Toledo Museum of Art will feature a brand new digital exhibition celebrating Juneteenth. Out of the Dark: A Historic Journey is a special exhibit curated by eight members of the Toledo Black Artist Coalition. (Sentinal-Tribune)
- A 3-year-old child suffered a broken leg in South Toledo after walking into the street and being struck by a Jeep. The Toledo Police were able to speak to witnesses and determined that the parents were not negligent. (WTOL)

- The Toledo GROWS Crosby Festival of the Arts will be hosted at Toledo Botanical Gardens on Friday, June 25 through Sunday, June 27. (13 ABC)
- Local nonprofit group the Delroy Chance Angel Wing Foundation (named after the late Central Catholic football coach) will be hosting a jazz night fundraiser on Sunday, June 27. The foundation raises money to provide athletic equipment for the city's youth. (13 ABC)
- Toledo will be home to this year's Solheim Cup golf tournament at the Inverness Club, (August 31 - September 6)
- Supernatural America: The Paranormal in American Art, Toledo Museum of Art (through September 5)

- Buff City Soap opens its latest store on Secor Road in West Toledo (NBC 24)
- Jazz in the Garden is set to begin July 8 at the Toledo Botanical Gardens. Tickets are $10 cash only at the gate. (BG Independent Media)
- History Happy Hour: Sailor Stories at the National Museum of the Great Lakes, July 1
- "ONE" Group Art Exhibition is a bi-monthly series of art exhibitions at The Switchboard
- Rare and Wondrous: Birds in Art and Culture 1620-1820, Toledo Museum of Art through July 25
- Toledo School for the Arts will perform throughout summer in a free Jazz in the Park series, through August 12
- Toledo brings back Movies in the Park series, June 24 - September 16
- City of Toledo accepting applications for Parks and Recreation Youth Advisory Board
- Community mental health organization Harbor is facilitating 300 jobs for teens this summer through their Youth Enhancement Services (YES)
- Lunch at Levis returned June 10 and will last through September 16. It features live performances, food vendors, and other activities related to this year's Solheim Cup and Toledo Jeep Fest
- Toledo Night Market has returned and will host live music, food, and shopping plus free parking near the Toledo Farmer's Market, 6-11 PM monthly
- The Toledo Symphony Orchestra and the Toledo Ballet have joined forces at the Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts and have announced an exciting 2021/2022 season
- Toledo School for the Arts offering music lessons focusing on a "drumline" every Wednesday at five city parks. The program is for children of all ages and does not require any experience or reservations. (WTOL)
