Michigan Man Hit By Sandbag On I-75 In Toledo Dies: Reports
A sandbag thrown off the Indiana Avenue overpass onto I-75 struck passenger Marquise Byrd, of Warren, leaving him with severe head injuries.

TOLEDO, OH — A Michigan man has died days after he was hit by a sandbag that was thrown onto Interstate 75 from the Indiana Avenue overpass in Toledo, multiple media outlets reported. Now, four teens accused of throwing the sandbag face additional additional charges.
Late Tuesday, a sandbag tossed off the overpass broke through the windshield of a car, striking passenger Marquise Byrd, 22, of Warren, Michigan, and left him with severe head injuries, media outlets reported. He died on Friday, a Toledo police spokesman said.
Three teens ages 13 and 14 were arrested after police saw them leave the area. They were charged with felonious assault in juvenile court.

Other cars were also hit by objects thrown off the overpass that night, an assistant county prosecutor previously said.
