- It has been over a year since four Toledo City Council members were charged with federal crimes and still no trial has taken place. The four entered not-guilty pleas but remain suspended from their duties. (13 ABC)
- A Canadian crew was able to get vaccinated against COVID-19 during a stop at the Port of Toledo. The city has been able to share its vaccinations as local numbers slow down. (NBC 24)
- A Toledo Polish food vendor, Busia's Pierogi Shack, has engaged in some guerilla marketing throughout the city. Residents may find hand painted clay pierogis hidden around town that are good for a free pack of the delicious pocket delights. (13 ABC)
- Live music is returning to Toledo's Hollywood Casino this summer. On July 24, Van Halen tribute band Atomic Punks will headline, and the Village People ("YMCA") perform on August 31. (WTOL)
- An 18-year-old man was shot outside of a home in central Toledo at the 2000 block of Elliott Ave. The suspect has not been apprehended but the victim is expected to recover. (WTOL)
