  1. Toledo Police, Toledo Fire and Rescue, and a SWAT team successfully negotiated with a man accused of discharging a firearm near D Street to surrender peacefully after he barricaded himself inside a home. (13 ABC)
  2. Longtime Toledo residents and philanthropists Susan and Thomas Palmer pledged 1.5 million over five years to the Toledo Museum of Art. The gift will help the museum invest in cutting-edge exhibits and quality of pieces. (BG Independent)
  3. Toledo Fire Department battled a blaze affecting a large duplex on Superior Street Thursday night. The crews were able to prevent catastrophic damage to two nearby apartment complexes. (WTOL)
  4. The City of Toledo is planning to file a lawsuit against Block Communications, owner of Buckeye Broadband, for funds paid to move utility lines in the controversial Summit Street project, which is already being investigated by the FBI. (13 ABC)
  5. Two people from Indianapolis were arrested for attempting to steal over $3000 worth of merchandise from a Toledo JC Penny store. (13 ABC)
