  1. A resident of Toledo was arrested after firing a shot at an FBI agent who was surveilling a neighborhood near Bancroft along with a SWAT team and Oregon Police. The suspect and another woman were arrested following the incident. Officials found 20 marijuana plants and three firearms in the home. (13 ABC)
  2. Toledo's "Home at Last" program is set to run for another three to five years. The program provides funding for down payments if a family is otherwise eligible for a mortgage, and offers additional monies for homes in the Old South End, Junction/Englewood, or East Toledo neighborhoods. (WTOL)
  3. Toledo School for the Arts is offering music lessons focusing on a "drumline" every Wednesday at five city parks. The program is for children of all ages and does not require any experience or reservations. (WTOL)
  4. Pandemic restrictions will be lifted over time in local courts. Toledo Municipal Court is requiring face masks and social distancing through August 2. The COVID procedures for Lucas County Court of Common Pleas are set to last until July 2, with face mask rules in place until July 30. (WTOL)
  5. A new tuition-free charter school is set to open this fall that has an emphasis on academics and athletics. Western Toledo Preparatory Academy is now accepting students from kindergarten through seventh grade for its fall classes. (WTOL)
