Today's daily features stories on a standoff between Toledo Police and SWAT and a home with five children in it, a million dollar donation pledged to the Glass City Riverwalk Project, the continued closure of Willys Pool, and a local man who has been turning tattoos into a charity project after he was given a terminal diagnosis.

Here are the top 5 stories in Toledo today:
- The Toledo Police, along with a SWAT team, responded to shots fired and were involved in a stand-off outside of a home near Cottage Avenue in North Toledo. One suspect exited willingly, but officials had to negotiate with another person to exit the home where five children were present. (13 ABC)
- Mercy Health has pledged a 1 million dollar donation to the Toledo Metroparks system to further develop the Glass City Riverwalk project. The proposed river walk will feature five miles of green space on both sides of the Maumee River with an emphasis on development and improved water quality. (WTOL)
- Willys Pool in West Toledo will remain closed for an estimated three weeks as leaks are repaired in both the shallow and deep ends. Residents are encouraged to utilize one of the city's other public pools until the repairs are complete. (WTOL)
- Twenty-two new fruit trees have been planted outside the Sofia Quintero Art and Cultural Center in South Toledo. Toledo Edison and Tree Toledo facilitated the planting meant to help with local wildlife cultivation and provide produce for the Toledo Food Bank. (NBC 24)
- A Toledo man who turned a cancer diagnosis into an inspiring project has gotten tattoos with hundreds of people all over the world. Don Caskey's story has gained notoriety after appearing in People Magazine, and he is now raffling the chance to be tattooed with him as a fundraiser for his charity, Stranger Ink. (13 ABC)

- The Toledo GROWS Crosby Festival of the Arts will be hosted at Toledo Botanical Gardens on Friday, June 25 through Sunday, June 27.
- Local nonprofit group, the Delroy Chance Angel Wing Foundation, (named after the late Central Catholic football coach) will be hosting a jazz night fundraiser on Sunday, June 27. The foundation raises money to provide athletic equipment for the city's youth.
- Toledo will be home to this year's Solheim Cup Golf Tournament at the Inverness Club, (August 31 - September 6)
- Supernatural America: The Paranormal in American Art, Toledo Museum of Art (through September 5)
- Legendary rock group KISS will play the Huntington Center August 25
- Jazz in the Garden is set to begin July 8 at the Toledo Botanical Gardens. Tickets are $10 cash only at the gate. (BG Independent Media)
- History Happy Hour: Sailor Stories at the National Museum of the Great Lakes, July 1
- "ONE" Group Art Exhibition is a bi-monthly series of art exhibitions at The Switchboard through July 31
- Rare and Wondrous: Birds in Art and Culture 1620-1820, Toledo Museum of Art through July 25
- Toledo School for the Arts will perform throughout summer in a free Jazz in the Park series, through August 12
- Toledo brings back Movies in the Park series, June 24 - September 16
- City of Toledo accepting applications for Parks and Recreation Youth Advisory Board
- Community mental health organization Harbor is facilitating 300 jobs for teens this summer through their Youth Enhancement Services (YES)
- Lunch at Levis returned June 10 and will last through September 16. It features live performances, food vendors, and other activities related to this year's Solheim Cup and Toledo Jeep Fest
- Toledo Night Market has returned and will host live music, food, and shopping plus free parking near the Toledo Farmer's Market, 6-11 PM monthly
- The Toledo Symphony Orchestra and the Toledo Ballet have joined forces at the Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts and have announced an exciting 2021/2022 season
- Toledo School for the Arts is offering music lessons focusing on a "drumline" every Wednesday at five city parks. The program is for children of all ages and does not require any experience or reservations. (WTOL)
- UToledo to Host Virtual Filmmakers Workshop for Teens July 19-30
