- Three Toledo Firefighters have been deployed to assist with the condo collapse in Florida. The firefighters join several others dispatched from Ohio, including canine units, to assist with the rescue efforts. (WTOL)
- The Historic South Initiative continues to renovate houses in the Old South End neighborhood in Toledo. Some homes require a few repairs while some are rebuilt entirely. (WTOL)
- The CDC's housing moratorium extension through July 31, 2021, which temporarily halts evictions, does not apply to Toledo residents according to the Sixth Circuit Federal Court. Residents are advised to seek rental assistance funding if they are struggling. (13 ABC)
- Toledo mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz has agreed to meet with union officials from the Toledo Fire and Rescue department. The purpose of the discussion is to address staffing concerns by the department. (13 ABC)
- The City of Toledo Collins Park Water Treatment Plant has started a new process to address the yearly algae bloom issue. The treatment uses ozone to prevent the harmful effects of the algae bloom. (WTOL)
