Governor Mike DeWine signed Senate Bills 108 and 109 on May 17, both will become effective in 90 days. Senate Bill 108 provides $125 million and directs the Development Services Agency is to provide grants of $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 to affected bars and restaurants, based on their revenue loss and number of employees. Hotels will be eligible for grants of those same amounts, but to be determined by revenue loss and occupancy rates. Senate Bill 109 provides more than $500 million to various sectors, including child care providers and entertainment venues.
