COVID-19 Vaccination Update for Businesses: Vaccine Points of Dispensing
May 5 and 19, 2021
A continuation of our COVID-19 Vaccination Update for Businesses series, on May 5 and 19 you'll have the opportunity to learn about open and closed vaccine points of dispensing (PODs) and how they can benefit your business and employee population. This series is a partnership between the Toledo Chamber, The Employers' Association, the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department and the VProject in order to help vaccinate and educate our region so we can get back to business as usual following the COVID-19 pandemic.

​On May 5, we're joined by speakers Brandon Palinski, MPH-VPH, Planning & Quality Improvement Administrator, Toledo-Lucas County Health Department; Greg Moore, Program Coordinator for Healthy Start, Toledo-Lucas County Health Department; Laura Bowles, Director of Benefits, Dana Incorporated; and Amy Luck, Attorney, RCO Law. Drivers Ed – Preparing to Take the Wheel & Steer Your Business Forward, 2021

As always during our Drivers Ed series, young professionals breaking into C-suite and ownership-level positions will learn from one another and share best practices and expertise as they uplift and prepare one another to grow their unique businesses. This class is exclusively offered to Toledo Chamber members, and in this class, you have the opportunity to be both a speaker and a class member! On May 6, Andy Hudak, Investment Advisor Representative for TransAmerica Financial Advisors, Inc. will provide participants with a roadmap for company retirement plans and employee retention strategies.

Great Lakes Hyperloop, an Institute Series presentationMay 12, 2021
This all-new Institute Series is an extension of the Toledo Chamber's Institute for Leadership & Advocacy class. Each session of this series focuses on an issue of significant business importance in the Toledo Region, and you can be part of it. On May 12, learn about the exciting Great Lakes Hyperloop project and the transformation it will bring to the Toledo Region. This project will have the potential to bring travelers and visitors from Toledo to Pittsburgh, Chicago and Cleveland in mere minutes rather than hours, and ​offers a plethora of opportunities for our tourism industry and workforce. You'll hear from Hyperloop Transportation Technologies presenters Chuck Michael, Head of U.S. Feasibilities Studies, and Shelby Phillips, Head of U.S. Public Affairs.
