Toledo School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Toledo is August 17 for grades 1-9, August 18 for grades 10-12, August 21 for EHSO and August 23 for kindergarten. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Toledo Public School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 8/16: Teacher Inservice
• 8/17: Grades 1-9 First Day (Half Day for Grades 1-8, Full Day for Grade 9)
• 10/18: Grades 10-12 First Day
• 8/21: First Day of ESO
• 8/23: First Day of Kindergarten

September

• 9/4: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/13: End of First Quarter
• 10/26 - 10/27: Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences

November

• 11/7: No School for Students (Teacher Inservice)
• 11/22: No School for Students
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/18 - 12/20: High School Exams
• 12/20: End of Second Quarter, End of First Semester
• 12/21: No School for Students (Teacher Work Day)
• 12/22 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/8: No School for Students (Teacher Inservice)
• 1/15: No School (MLK Day)

February

• 2/16: No School for Students
• 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/16: End of Third Quarter
• 3/30 - 4/6: No School (Spring Break)

• 5/23 - 5/26: High School Exams
• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/29: No School for Students (Teacher Work Day)
