Annual Chamber Golf Outing Boasts New Activities this Year
A portion of the proceeds from the day will benefit VFWs American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall, coming to Twinsburg in 2015.

Participants know to expect to have fun at the annual Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce golf outing — but this year, there are a few new activities planned.
The annual golf outing begins at 9 a.m. June 14 at Gleneagles Golf course with breakfast provided by Panera Bread. A steak dinner will be served by Red's Place at 4 p.m.
But in between that, golfers will compete in closest to the pin, longest drive, low gross, putting and hole in one contests.
“This year will be a lot of fun for our golfers! The outing will fit our new, fresh look and feel. We also have a couple new activities and prizes for our golfers to enjoy this year," said Abby Schroll, executive director of the Twinsburg Chamber in a prepared statement.
Register a team or join the chamber for dinner by visiting www.twinsburgchamber.com or email aschroll@twinsburgchamber.com.
The cost is $110 per person or $440 per team. It includes beverages, breakfast, lunch, dinner, green fees and cart. Participants will receive gift bags and framed pictures of their teams. The event is not limited to golfers.
Also, a portion of the proceeds from the day will benefit VFWs American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall, coming to Twinsburg in 2015.
“I am very excited to be part of this year’s The Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Outing. I am especially proud to be part of an event where a portion of the proceeds will go to the Veterans of Foreign War American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall which will be coming to Twinsburg in July of 2015," said Jim Sukys, Director of Development for Habitat for Humanity of Summit County and Chamber golf committee member.
