An exclusive Q&A with Louie the Elf

During all the hustle and bustle leading up to the holiday season, we were able to catch up with Louie the Elf from LuminoCity – A Holiday Lighting Celebration for the community on Saturday, November 25th. The event begins at 6 PM at Twinsburg City Hall, 10075 Ravenna Road.

Q: So Louie, what have you been up to lately?

A: Making toys, some candy cane kickball, and lights..lights…lights! You wouldn’t believe the amount of lights on the way to Twinsburg for LuminoCity! So many surprises are coming your way!

Q: When will you be making your way to our town?

A: Well, funny you ask! I’ll actually be in town early this year for Louie’s Light Exchange! I’m bringing a few friends along to encourage the community to give back. We’ll be collecting toys on Wednesday, November 22nd to benefit Summit County Children’s Services. Collection will take place from 12-1 PM at Township Square and 2-3 PM at Reminderville Atheltic Club. Everyone who donates receives a LuminoCity light up wand! So stop by and take an “elfie” while you’re there!

Q: What makes these wands so special?

A: You’ll actually want to bring them to LuminoCity at 6 PM on November 25th. We’ll be using them to help light up City Hall and kids who bring their wand can win a special experience as Grand Marshal of the community march.

Q: What can we expect at LuminoCity?

A: An unforgettable community celebration! Lights, entertainment, your favorite holiday jingles…I prefer “wrap” music, and even fireworks! And of course, plenty of my famous punch lines…here I’ve got one. What kind of bread do elves make sandwiches with? Shortbread! That one gets me every time!
