Sidewalk Prophets to make tour stop in Twinsburg
The Something Different Tour in 3D will be at Rock the Park on Thursday, May 17th

TWINSBURG (MARCH 16, 2018) – The Sidewalk Prophets, a nationally touring Christian rock band, are making a stop at none other than Twinsburg’s Rock the Park this spring! Friends and family are invited to gather for an inspirational, uplifting night of music on Thursday, May 17th at 7:00 PM.
The Something Different Tour in 3D features special guest Bonray in addition to the headline act, Sidewalk Prophets. Promising to be a one-of-a-kind experience, the band recently shared with their fans that the tour will offer cinematic 3D visuals, and a special area where each concertgoer will feel like they are in a retro arcade.
As a band, Sidewalk Prophets takes pride in offering a different tour experience for their fans, whom they have officially named the "Great Big Family." Formed on the campus of Anderson University and built around vocal powerhouse and pop culture nerd Dave Frey, the band has: sold over 500,000 albums, 1.5 million digital singles, been nominated for a Billboard Music Award, played over 2,000 shows translating to being in front of 2.5 million fans, garnered five number one singles and eight top five radio hits, received over 11 million YouTube views, and been nominated for four Dove Awards, winning one - all over the course of their three Fervent Records albums. Sidewalk Prophets are a band known for spending the majority of their time on the road where they are passionate about connecting with their audience on a personal level.

Before the show, you’ll find members of the band personally interacting and escorting fans to their seats. Many times throughout their performance, you’ll even find them at ground level with the crowd coming together as one group.
“It’s one thing to say, ‘Oh, we really care about our fans,’” says Sidewalk Prophets band member, Ben McDonald. “It’s another thing to say, ‘We want to have this relationship with you, we’re going to open the doors for you to come into our family room. You’re a part of this.’”

Rock the Park is held at Perici Amphitheatre located behind Twinsburg Community Center at 10260 Ravenna Road. The full summer lineup will be announced beginning Monday, April 9th.
