Twinsburg Man Given Kidney by Selfless Friend
Two friends, one kidney, an inseparable bond.
When a Twinsburg man was in desperate need for a kidney a close friend stepped up and gave his.
Ryan Crecco and Octavian Maianu had been friends for ten years, but when Grecco suffered kidney failure and needed a donor, Maianu donated his, according to a beautiful feature from the Twinsburg Bulletin.
"I had to think about it for a while before I went to get tested to be the donor," Maianu told the Twinsburg Bulletin. "I'm kind of cautious and I like to do research before I really do anything. I came to the conclusion that I should go forward with this."
