Ohio Connections Academy Recognizes Hubbard Student

Star Student Award recognizes students for achievement in and out of the virtual classroom

Trini Warminski of Hubbard, was recently named one of Ohio Connections Academy’s (OCA) Star Students of the Month for February in recognition of her academic achievements and leadership.

Trini, a third-grade student at the statewide online public charter school, was nominated by her Language Arts teacher Ms. Brooks due to her hard work and positive attitude. As a Star Student, Trini will be presented a certificate recognizing her achievement and be profiled in Ohio Connections Academy’s student newsletter and on the school’s website. Each month OCA recognizes two students in each of the four grade bands for their achievements in and out of the classroom.

Trini’s father is a senior instructor with the United States Army and is stationed in Wisconsin. The schedule flexibility that the online school offers enables Trini’s family to spend more time together. Her mother Dawn said they also appreciate the support from the teachers and the staff who make sure their daughter continues to prosper.
