Where To Find Christmas Trees In 2020 Near Youngstown
Many local Christmas tree farmers are taking COVID-19 precautions to make sure you and your family have a jolly holiday.
Youngstown, OH — As the coronavirus pandemic threatens some of America's most well-loved holiday traditions in 2020, it could still be possible to hunt for the right Christmas tree this year — and do it safely.
Did you know that at least 25 million real Christmas trees are purchased each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states? During this unprecedented year, Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as COVID-19 cases rise to ensure locals can take home their ideal tree with minimal health and safety risk.
In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has created a 2020 guide with recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree sellers to follow, including frequently sanitizing items such as hand saws and tree cart handles, as well as countertops, restrooms and other areas. Maximum head counts and personal protective equipment for employees are also being encouraged.
