2 Chickasha Police Officers Shot In Shootout With Man
The man was also shot. He barricaded himself inside a home for several hours.

CHICKASHA, OK — Two Chickasha police officers serving a search warrant were shot during an exchange of gunfire Sunday afternoon, authorities said, and now the state is investigating.
Shots were "quickly" fired between the two police officers and a man inside the home, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said in a Facebook post. Both officers were hurt and one officer was airlifted to a hospital in Oklahoma City. The conditions of both officers weren't immediately known and their identities weren't immediately released.
The man who was shot barricaded himself inside the home for several hours and later surrendered to police. Six special agents from the state were collecting information and documenting the scene Sunday, the state said. A "comprehensive" report will be sent to the district attorney once the investigation is complete.
