Bonamici To Host Several Town Halls In Metro Region

Oregon Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici announced 6 upcoming town halls between Sept. 15 and 24 in cities in and around the Portland area.

From US House of Reps: Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) announced six town hall meetings across the First Congressional District, which includes Washington, Yamhill, Clatsop, and Columbia counties and part of Multnomah County.

Bonamici will take questions from residents and provide an update about her work in Congress. The town hall meetings will be in Seaside, Tualatin, Newberg, Banks, Scappoose, and Portland.

“This is a pivotal time in our country on many issues, so it is important for people to participate in our democracy and make their voices heard,” said Bonamici. “Town hall meetings allow me to meet with constituents in person so I can hear what matters most to them and address their needs in Congress. In recent months many Oregonians have contacted me about pressing issues that I look forward to discussing. These include health care, protecting the environment, immigration, and holding the Trump administration accountable.”
