Medical Marijuana Growers' Info Sessions Set For May
10 info sessions will be held in cities along the state's westside, allowing OMMP officials to explain new program requirements to growers.

SALEM, OR — Oregon Medical Marijuana Program officials announced the dates of several community outreach sessions meant to introduce new reporting and tracking requirements to cannabis growers.
The sessions are scheduled throughout May and will be held in six different cities.
During the sessions, OMMP staff will:

- show growers who are required to use to the state's Cannabis Tracking System (CTS) how to properly designate a grow site administrator;
- explain when monthly reports are expected to be submitted to the Oregon Medical Marijuana Online System (OMMOS);
- help growers create and access their OMMOS accounts; and
- explain when a grower may be exempt from state reporting and tracking requirements.
The outreach sessions begin May 3 in St. Helens and continue through May 17, with the last session taking place in Grants Pass.

- May 3, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Columbia Center, 375 S. 18th St. in St. Helens;
- May 4, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Portland State Office Building, 800 N.E. Oregon St., Room 1B, in Portland;
- May 4, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Albany Public Library, 2450 14th Ave. S.E. in Albany;
- May 8, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Cherry Avenue Training Center, 3414 Cherry Ave. N.E., Ste. 150, in Keizer;
- May 10, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., 3 to 4:30 p.m., and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Tillamook County Library, 1716 Third St. in Tillamook;
- May 11, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and 12 to 1:30 p.m. at Tillamook County Library, 1716 Third St. in Tillamook;
- May 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Portland State Office Building, 800 N.E. Oregon St., Room 1B, in Portland;
- May 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Portland State Office Building, 800 N.E. Oregon St., Room 1A, in Portland;
- May 16, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., 12:30 to 2 p.m., and 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Grants Pass Library, 200 N.W. C St. in Grants Pass; and
- May 17, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Grants Pass Library, 200 N.W. C St. in Grants Pass.
Officials noted a Eugene session is also in the works but hasn't yet been finalized.
Also throughout May and June, OMMP and Oregon Liquor Control Commission officials will host info-sessions for registered medical marijuana growers, dispensaries and processors to explain all the ins and outs of the CTS.
