Located in Southwest Oregon's Klamath County, Crater Lake is a popular tourist and resident destination all year long, though winter visits to the lake may require a hike or snowmobile.

Costs for visiting the lake vary depending on the time of year. During winter, between Nov. 1 and May 12, a 7-day pass private, non-commercial vehicles in $10. In summer, May 13 through Oct. 31, passes are $25.

Week passes for motorcycles are also $10 in winter, but only $20 in summer.

For folks who just want to hike the ridge surrounding the lake, kids 15 and under get in free and all others pay $10 in winter and $12 in the summer.
