Bus Proposal Might Be Another Loss for Mt. Hood Community College

Another setback for Mt. Hood Community College. Months after seeing a bond measure that would help the college grow was defeated, a plan to improve bus service to the school appears to be on the verge of being curbed.

The Oregonian reportsthat the long-planned proposal to include service from the Gresham Transit Service to the school in expansion of East County service appears to be dead.

And the culprit is money, according to the paper.

Michael Calcagno, a community college board member and member of the project steering committee, tells the paper the move is part of an effort to keep the project's budget down.
