Expanded Voting Center Opens Monday In Multnomah County
Expanded language and disability services, as well as closer access for East County residents to handle all voting-based business.

From Multnomah County:Multnomah County Elections announces the opening of the Voting Center Express inside the Multnomah County East Building in downtown Gresham.
The Voting Center Express is an additional service location that will be open the 15 days before each election in 2018. The Voting Center Express is open beginning Jan. 8 through Election Day on Jan. 23.
The Voting Center Express is part of Multnomah County Elections efforts to expand access to voting services. Its location in downtown Gresham will provide a closer choice for service for more than 165,000 Multnomah County voters.

At the Voting Center Express, citizens can replace a lost or damaged ballot or update their voter registration information. Voters with a disability can get assistance. Voters who speak a language other than English can get assistance in their native language.
Elections staff are available for questions or any other elections related help. The Voting Center Express is open with voters getting assistance with replacement ballots at the front counter. Signs provide information in six languages.

The Voting Center Express is located inside the Multnomah County East Building at 600 N.E. Eighth St. in Gresham, near the Gresham Central Transit Center and parking. The Voting Center Express is open Jan. 8 to Election Day, Jan. 23.
Normal office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended open hours for the Jan. 23 Special Election are listed below.
The Voting Center Express will be CLOSED Jan. 15 in observance of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.
The Voting Center Express will offer extended open hours:
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 20
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 22
- 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23 (Election Day)
Ballots can only be accepted at the Voting Center Express during open hours. The nearest 24-hour official ballot drop box site is in the parking lot at the Gresham Library at 385 N.W. Miller Ave.

Multnomah County Elections provides an interpreter, free of charge to anyone who needs help voting in a language other than English. Additional voting and elections information in nine languages is online at multco.us/education-and-outreach.
Voted ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Jan. 23. Voters are encouraged to return ballots promptly because of the possibility of inclement winter weather.
