Gresham Candy Store Burglar Caught On Video, Electronics Stolen
The candy is safe but a burglar stole electronics from ICandy in Gresham on Sunday, just hours before they were set to open.

GRESHAM, OR – Just hours before ICandy was set to open on Super Bowl Sunday, a burglar threw a wrench in their plans. Fortunately, the store's security camera caught the person on video. The owners hope it's enough to catch the person.
"Super Bowl Sunday is a very big day for us," co-owner Debby Eggers told Patch. "People stocking up on popcorn and more. Fortunately we were able to get the store open. This is the first time this has happened to us."
The burglary happened around 7:15 on Sunday morning at the store at 344 North Main Street.

Eggers says that the burglar stole the store's cell phone, iPad, and other electronics. In all, the person walked off with about $1,500 in stuff.

Not on the burglar's stealing list, however, was candy and other treats.
When it came to those, the burglar left empty-handed.
"I guess her bag was already full," Eggers says.
A police report has been filed – case #19-6059 – and Eggers hopes that someone recognizes the person and calls Gresham Police with information.
