Gresham Police Looking For Information About Hit And Run That Injured Child

The child had been riding his bicycle and suffered serious injuries. He is expected to survive.

On Oct. 5 around 5:15 pm, Gresham Police responded to the report of an 8-year-old boy who had been hit by a car at the corner of NE 178th Ave. and NE Oregon St. The child had been riding his bicycle and suffered serious injuries. He is expected to survive.

The person who hit the boy failed to stay at the scene and witnesses describe the involved vehicle as a gold or champagne colored van with a black roof rack. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the vehicle or driver is asked to call Officer Kritter is at 503-618-3219.
