Gresham Police Remind Families of Curfew for Minors

"Nothing good happens after midnight," says the police department.

Remind parents of the old line about "nothing good happens after midnight," the Gresham Police Department doesn't want anyone to forget there is a curfew in effect for minors. It lasts from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m..

The police department says that youth - kids under 18-years-old - are exponentially more likely to get into trouble or find themselves in harm's way the later it gets.

The city wrote the curfew into law. It's found in the Gresham Revised Code 7.40.010.
