Gresham Shooting Leads To Woman's Arrest On Manslaughter Charge

Gresham police say that 23-year-old Schwanna Waters shot and killed a man Thursday at Evergreen Meadows Apartments,

GRESHAM, OR – Schwanna Walters is in Multnomah County Jail in connection with the shooting death of a man on Thursday. The 23-year-old is charged with manslaughter.

The shooting happened just before 1:30 on Thursday afternoon at the Evergreen Meadows Apartments n the 900 block of Southeast 187th Avenue.

After detectives and officers responded, Gresham Police said that there was no danger to the public and that everyone involved in the incident had been accounted for.

Detectives are still going through the evidence, trying to determine what led to the shooting.

They say that they will release the victim's name after his family has been notified.
