New North Gresham Elementary School's First Wall Goes Up
The first wall went up on Monday for the school whose construction is being funded by the 2016 bond approved by voters.
GRESHAM, OR – There are times when everyone agrees that building a wall is a very good idea. For instance, when you're building a school.
That was the case on Monday when the first wall went up for the new North Gresham Elementary School went up.

The project is being funded by the $291 million bond that was approved by voters in 2016.
The school will welcome its approximately 540 students starting in the fall of 2019.

After that, the old school will be demolished and replaced by a park and parking lots.
Other projects include renovating Gresham High School as well as Barlow High School, which is getting a stadium.
