Searchers Looking For Missing Gresham Woman Find A Body On Trail
The searchers had been looking for Diana Bober, when they found a woman's body along Hunchback Trail. The body had no identification.
PORTLAND, OR – A search and rescue party looking for Diana Bober on Mt. Hood Monday found the body of a woman who had died. The person had no identification so the medical examiner will have to determine positively if it is her.
Bober had not been seen since Aug. 29.
Her family had told Gresham Police that she is an avid hiker and they were concerned that she could have been hurt either in the Gorge or around Mt. Hood – two areas that she liked to frequent. Over the weekend, her black 1996 Mazda Miata was discovered by the Zigzag Ranger station.
That prompted a more focused search and on Monday, one of those teams was by Hunchback Trail when they discovered the body about 100 yards off the trail off a steep embankment.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office does not believe that foul play was involved.
