Snow! Up to Six Inches Expected for the Cascade Passes and More the Higher You Go
Winter weather advisories are in effect. The heaviest snow is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

It may not be winter but there is snow on the mountain with more on the way. The National Weather Service-Portland has issued a winter weather advisory warning of up to six inches in the Cascade Passes with more snow the higher you go.
The heaviest snow is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday.
"Each day will bring gradually accumulating snow to the Cascades," the weather service said. "Plan for snow covered mountain pass roads at times this week. Conditions warm toward the weekend as snow levels rise back above most passes."

At Mt. Hood Meadows - where their annual "Pray for Snow Day" is not until Saturday - they already have a base of six inches with more on the way.
Timberline Lodge's website says they have 34 inches since September 1st.

The snow is a change for the region which has an unusually warm fall so far. The last time the weather dipped below freezing at Portland International Airport was in February.
